Paige Olson
As a child, I was always drawn to water. I first began kayaking at the age of 15, exploring local lakes near my hometown of Plymouth, MN. As I got older I wanted to continue to improve my skills and explore other areas by kayak. This desire eventually led me to become a sea kayak guide on Lake Superior, primarily within the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. When I heard about the opportunity to join TRAK’s Pilot Program I jumped at the opportunity. I was drawn to the TRAk’s versatility and portability. It truly allows paddlers to make any paddling trip accessible and possible. I was excited to bring my knowledge of paddling inland seas, working with constantly changing weather patterns, and experience as an ACA sea kayak instructor to the TRAK team. My kayaking highlights include paddling to almost all of the 21 Apostle Islands and paddling 83 miles of the Green River in Utah. Cheers and see you on the water!
