Martin Feuchtwanger

When pondering what would be my new direction after a career in software development and having only dabbled in many outdoor activities for much of my life I decided to take the plunge into a new career in outdoor adventures. After some intensive outdoor leadership training (the 3-month COLT program) on Vancouver Island in 2017, I began kayak guiding and instructing and then alpine ski instructing in Vancouver. This spring (2018) I’m excited to say I’ll be furthering my training in sea kayaking, continuing guiding and instructing, and joining the TRAK Kayak Pilot program. I’ve been on 9-day and 5-day kayaking trips in Nootka Sound and Johnstone Strait and hope to have many more such adventures along the coasts of BC.
