Jordan Johnson

Jordan is honoured to be a visitor on the lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples and lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples (Songhees and Esquimalt nations) in Victoria, BC. His journey with kayaking began on the Canadian prairies over 10 years ago and has come to bear fruit since moving to Vancouver Island.

The TRAK 2.0 was Jordan’s first kayak and he was drawn to it for its portability and compact storage profile. He was interested in joining the TRAK Pilot program after meeting with a member of the TRAK team who led him through his first assembly, offering valuable tips and explaining the many benefits of his versatile new boat.

Jordan completed his Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level 2 certification in his TRAK in the summer of 2021, and was thrilled to be a part of the inaugural TRAK Pilot Ambassador Summit and Owner’s Gathering on Saysutshun Island in the fall of 2023 (and the following 3 day expedition to Pirate’s Cove!).

Jordan is excited to help out with more TRAK events and test paddles in the future and is planning to take his Paddle Canada Level 1 Instructor course in the spring of 2024.
