Our love for paddling started in 2020 during the pandemic when we turned to kayaking as a way to get outside, stay active, and connect with nature. What began as simple exercise quickly became a passion, as we discovered the freedom and adventure that being on the water provides.

If you'd asked me five years ago where I'd be today, I honestly wouldn't have expected to be here, paddling along some of the most beautiful coastlines, becoming an instructor and guide, actually managing to roll a kayak.

And yet, here I am...

Ich lernte das Paddeln im Alter von sieben Jahren kennen, als meine Eltern mich im Camp Hurontario in der Georgian Bay absetzten. Das war einige Tage, bevor die anderen Camper ankamen. Die Betreuer mussten sich etwas einfallen lassen, um mich zu beschäftigen, und brachten mir das Paddeln und Hecken eines Kanus bei.

Ich bin ein begeisterter Paddler aus Victoria, BC, und versuche, so oft wie möglich aufs Wasser zu kommen. Ich bin Seekajakführer der Stufe 2 des SKGABC und Gründungsdirektor und aktueller Präsident von SISKA, dem Seekajakclub von Victoria. Ich paddele gerne alles, von Flachwasser über Gezeitenströmungen bis hin zu Brandung und Steinfeldern – und das TRAK macht all das möglich! Auf Reisen kann ich mit meinem TRAK an Orte paddeln, die sonst tabu wären, und dabei ein leistungsstarkes Kajak paddeln!
