Unter der Leitung von TRAK-Piloten und dem HQ-Team laden wir Sie herzlich zu dieser Veranstaltung im Symposiumsstil ein. Wir nutzen die Gruppencampingplätze auf der Insel Saysutshun (Newcastle), die vom Hafen von Nanaimo aus leicht erreichbar sind. Es gibt sanitäre Einrichtungen und verschiedene weitere Annehmlichkeiten in der Nähe – dies wird kein „raues“ Erlebnis.
Zu den Themen des Fertigkeitstrainings gehören Paddelfertigkeiten, Techniken und die Beherrschung des TRAK 2.0 selbst. TRAK-Piloten und Gastredner bringen ein breites Spektrum an Fachwissen mit, und es sind Programme sowohl für Anfänger als auch für erfahrene Paddler geplant.
Wir freuen uns darauf, unsere Gemeinschaftsbeziehungen zu stärken und Freundschaften zu schließen, die uns zu zukünftigen Expeditionen und einfachen Ausflügen inspirieren. Abends nach dem Abendessen gibt es festliche Unterhaltung, beispielsweise Live-Musik.
Zum Abschluss des Treffens, das vom 22. bis 24. September stattfindet, gibt es optional eine mehrtägige Tour nach DeCourcy Island. Der Abschluss des Treffens ist zugleich ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für weitere Abenteuer auf Vancouver Island.

Are my flights included in the price?
Your transportation to and from the starting location is not included in the trip price. For more information about flights and logistics, contact our team.
What accommodations are provided?
Each TRAK trip is uniquely tailored for paddlers based on their comfort zones. Some trips are designed for paddlers with lots of backcountry experience and personal camping gear, while others are designed for paddlers who prefer a leisure experience with comfortable fixed roof accommodations. Contact TRAK to find the trip that's right for you.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on trip location and duration. Please contact TRAK HQ if you require clarification on our cancellation policies.
If you must cancel your trip booking prior to the start date, TRAK will either credit the amount you paid towards a future TRAK trip of your choice, or provide a refund based on the following:
- 90 days or more prior to the trip departure date – full amount is refunded minus a $150 administration fee per person (the guest is responsible for any costs incurred for cancelling any additional tours or travel arrangements).
- 59-30 days prior to the trip departure date – 50% of total tour price is refunded.
- Less than 30 days prior to the trip departure date – no refund will be given.
If a program must be cancelled due to low enrolment, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Once a program is underway, our guides may adjust the itinerary for safety reasons such as weather, sea state, or individual/group dynamics. In these cases, no refunds are issued, as your experience continues in a way that keeps everyone safe and comfortable.
Should a participant be evacuated — either by choice or at the guide’s discretion for medical or safety reasons — the participant is responsible for any evacuation costs.
If the program is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, TRAK and our outfitter partners will make all reasonable efforts to try to reschedule. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund.
For programs with a higher cost, we recommend obtaining both medical and cancellation travel insurance. Please note that many policies must be purchased shortly after you book to ensure full coverage.
