Rodolfo was working his life away, time passing him by, and wondering how to pursue a more fulfilling life. As a sound engineer in the Santiago film industry, Roldofo had both the tools and the talent to produce art that could shift perspectives, but he was lacking the subject - then. Rodolfo discovered sea kayaking.
Rodolfo has now spent several seasons directing TRAK expedition programs in the Salish Sea out of Nanaimo. His approach to leadership has garnered him many fans by creating opportunities for personal growth and skills improvements while under his watch.
In his home country of Chile, Rodolfo spends the southern summers as lead guide for Bigfoot Expeditions out of Puerto Natales, leading clients through the most beautiful regions of Patagonia.
We'll provide everything you need once the tour starts, until it ends. You may want to bring your favorite PFD, paddle, and your own TRAK kayak if you have one.
A comprehensive packing list will be shared upon trip registration.

“It was very exciting to be around such a culture of people and find myself on the open waters of the wild pacific coast with such an inviting and welcoming group, in these amazing high-performance kayaks. Never in my wildest dreams would those few basic skills that we learned on the first day, would progress to where we went today.”

“That was really fun. He just broke it down… It’s funny when you have someone take the time to go through things that might be natural. He broke down the surf process into little bitty pieces that made me way more comfortable. I would have never just dove in and done that on my own.”
— Natalie Kelly
"The best decision I made, once I got my TRAK kayak, was to join two trips. I was able to go from a beginner kayaker to an intermediate one in no time, thanks to the assistance of professional TRAK Pilots and the fun skill-building in pristine settings, like the Gulf Islands. I highly recommend joining TRAK in the Gulf Islands - not only did my kayak skills progress but I found a new family with TRAK!"
