Aidez à exécuter une expédition tropicale

Il s'agit de l'un des circuits TRAK Experience, axé sur le plaisir de pagayer dans une destination internationale incontournable. Le rôle des pilotes TRAK consiste à assister le chef d'équipe dans la gestion de l'expédition et des expériences des participants, tout en profitant de votre propre expérience dans une destination tropicale.

Les détails complets du voyage ne sont pas encore finalisés, car nous l'organiserons en fonction des participants. Nous avons décidé qu'il y aurait deux voyages, du 22 au 29 avril et du 7 au 14 mai 2019. Nous organiserons des binômes de pilotes pour accompagner le groupe pendant cinq jours sur l'eau, avec des journées de transition à chaque fin de semaine.

Responsabilités du pilote

Les pilotes sont responsables des tâches suivantes :

  • Voyage pour rencontrer l'équipe aux Philippines.
  • Apporter et repartir avec son propre kayak TRAK 2.0 et son équipement de pagaie.
  • Contribuer à faciliter une expérience de pagayage de classe mondiale pour toutes les personnes impliquées.

    What we're going to do:

    This six day/ five night paddling expedition will introduce you to the natural and cultural wonders of Palawan on the western fringes of the Philippine archipelago. Explore this paddlers paradise by day with professional guidance, instruction and interpretation from local guides, and dine on authentic local cuisine along the way. Expect to quietly slip into narrow inlets, glide through peaceful mangrove forests, and explore remote beaches with minimal impact on the environment. This trip is primarily camping based, with hotel accommodations on the first and last day.

    Itinerary:

    Day 0: Arrival & Orientation

    - Flight schedule: to be determined
    - We highly suggest to take the morning 1st flight
    - Arrive at Puerto Princesa Airport (PPS) by early morning.
    - A private van will transport you on a scenic 6+ hour journey to our staging hotel/resort in the El Nido area.
    - From Puerto Princesa to El Nido is 230 km. Expect a 5 hour ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido.
    - Once finalized, full accommodation details will be shared with all participants.
    - That evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your guides at the accommodation.
    - We’ll conduct a full expedition orientation, covering packing strategies, gear selection, and the paddle plan.
    - Accommodation on Night 0 is included and arranged by Kayak Philippines.

    Day 1: Paddle Launch & Kayak Orientation

    -Early start for a Kayak Philippines introduction and skills tune-up. After loading and final checks, we launch from the resort beach into the stunning Lio Beach, Bacuit Bay where your expedition begins.

    Days 2–5: Lio Beach - Bacuit Bay Exploration Journey West and Southward Island Hopping & Remote Paddling

    -Paddle into the heart of Bacuit Bay, exploring its spectacular
    seascapes.
    - Visit hidden coves, vertical limestone cliffs, and vibrant coral gardens.
    - Nights will be spent at pristine island campsites or quiet beach
    resorts, weather and route permitting.
    - Supported by our banker (local outrigger boat) and crew, we’ll cover more remote stretches and explore lesser-known islands.
    - Continue paddling and boating through secluded islands,
    surrounded by turquoise waters and untouched landscapes.
    - These final days are about reflection, challenge, and immersion in nature.

    Please note: This is a general guideline. Exact dates, destinations, and routing may vary based on weather conditions and group dynamics.

    Day 6: Return to El Nido & Farewell

    - We travel back to El Nido by banka, clean up, and return to our staging accommodation.
    - In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with the team and relive the highlights of an unforgettable journey.
    - Meals and accommodation on this day are included.

    - Flight/train delays, rescheduling, or cancellations
    - Weather conditions or force majeure events
    - Political closures, technical faults, fires, floods, explosions, strikes, embargoes, or other uncontrollable events

    Are my flights included in the price?

    Your transportation to and from the starting location is not included in the trip price. For more information about flights and logistics, contact our team.

    What accommodations are provided?

    Each TRAK trip is uniquely tailored for paddlers based on their comfort zones. Some trips are designed for paddlers with lots of backcountry experience and personal camping gear, while others are designed for paddlers who prefer a leisure experience with comfortable fixed roof accommodations.     What's your cancellation policy?

    If you must cancel your trip booking prior to the start date, TRAK will either credit the amount you paid towards a future TRAK trip of your choice, or provide a refund based on the following:

    • 60 days or more prior to the trip departure date – full amount is refunded minus a $150 administration fee per person (the guest is responsible for any costs incurred for cancelling any additional tours or travel arrangements).
    • 59-30 days prior to the trip departure date – 50% of total tour price is refunded.
    • Less than 30 days prior to the trip departure date – no refund will be given.
