Region: Seattle / Salish Sea 

I've been exploring the Salish Sea by kayak since 2016, with the San Juan Islands serving as my backyard and launching point for countless adventures. My favorite trips are multi-day expeditions, including several journeys through the Broken Group Islands and a memorable paddle to Hot Springs Cove. I love the magic of expedition camp life, especially cooking dinner after a day on the water and ending the evening watching the light fade over a quiet cove.

When I'm not on the water, I'm a photographer, storyteller, and block printer whose work is inspired by the places I explore. Lately, many of those adventures begin from the deck of my 27-foot sailboat, and I'm excited by the endless possibilities that come from combining sailing and paddling.

I love introducing others to kayaking and sharing the stories, wildlife encounters, and quiet moments that make life on the water so special. My hope is to inspire more people to see that adventure is closer, and more accessible, than they might think.
