TRAK Pilot | Houston & Gulf Coast, Texas

I’m a Houston-based paddler exploring Southeast Texas waterways — from urban bayous and inland lakes to the protected coastal waters of the Gulf. I’m actively building regional water knowledge by paddling new routes, tracking conditions, and connecting with local clubs and paddling groups across Texas.

Texas is a huge and underrepresented region on the TRAK map, and I’m excited to help more paddlers experience the boat across diverse water types. In a region without mountains, the water becomes the landscape — offering a completely different perspective of Houston, the Gulf Coast, and the Texas river systems.

TRAK’s portability is especially valuable here. Many Houston paddlers live in apartments or townhomes with limited storage, and the ability to pack a full-performance kayak into a travel bag opens doors — whether that means weekend road trips across Texas or flying out of one of Houston’s major hubs under standard baggage allowances.

I enjoy hosting safe, structured demo sessions focused on practical setup, real-world use, and helping paddlers feel confident both on the water and with the logistics of owning a travel-ready kayak.

Primary area: Houston metro (Buffalo Bayou, Clear Lake / Galveston Bay region, Lake Houston)

Also available: Central Texas rivers including the San Marcos area, as schedule allows.
