Founded in 2006, TRAK Kayaks is proud to be a Canadian company. Our headquarters is located on beautiful Vancouver Island, in the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples.

In the midst of recent news from our neighbours in the USA, the TRAK team is glad to announce that new tariffs imposed by the United States on Canadian-made products will not impact our pricing.

Rather than increase our 2025 pricing as planned, our leadership team has decided to hold our pricing at 2024 levels to account for the market volatility that has been created by new concerns surrounding tariffs. Customers outside the EU will see this discount reflected on our current kayak product pricing for 2025.

TRAK is still pleased to offer complimentary shipping on all kayak orders within North America, deliverable within 30 days or less.

About TRAK's Production

While our original folding skin-on-frame kayak - the T-1600 - was designed and manufactured right here in Canada, we are now grateful to produce our flagship kayak - the TRAK 2.0 -  in one of the world’s leading manufacturing facilities for high quality outdoor equipment, located on the west coast of the Philippines close to the South China Sea. Our Filipino production team is part of the TRAK family. They are incredibly talented and dedicated to their craft, and we feel fortunate to work with such an industrious and fun-loving group of professionals.
