Founded in 2006, TRAK Kayaks is proud to be a Canadian company. Our headquarters is located on beautiful Vancouver Island, in the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples.

In early April 2026, Gwenn Bezard and Bryant Cannon embarked on a seven-day paddle expedition across southern Nicaragua; an ambitious 167-mile journey stretching from Colón to San Juan del Norte. Their route combined two distinct environments: two days crossing the vast expanse of Lake Cocibolca, including a stop in the Solentiname Islands, followed by five days descending the Río San Juan to the Caribbean.

As good as any kayak is, it's how well it fits you - your connection to the kayak - that makes it exceptional.

We often hear that the paddle doesn't roll a kayak, we do. The same applies to turning the kayak. We, the paddler, are directly connected to the kayak and it's our body movement which provides the control.
