Greetings!
We are Jeff and Kathy Schmidt, and live just north of Chicago, Illinois. We are fortunate enough to live just a few minutes away from beautiful Lake Michigan. Besides our love of kayaking we enjoy Nordic skiing, traveling, camping and just about anything else that takes us outside.
The TRAK first caught our eye as a kayak that we take with us on our travels.
As avid kayakers and closing in on retirement, we wanted a kayak that we could pack up easily and take with us as we check off our bucket list destinations.
Once we started paddling the TRAK we realized what an exceptional kayak this was and became more involved as TRAK pilots.
We now have the opportunity to share our passion of kayaking and the ultimate TRAK with others.
Our paddling experiences include the Great Lakes, the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the Gulf of Mexico, as well as, many other beautiful locations. We've enjoyed our experiences acting as guides during TRAK Camps & Tours in Norway, Mexico, and the Philippines as well!
As ACA Level 4 open water sea kayak instructors we look forward to meeting and paddling with other TRAK owners.
