TRAK’s motto is Life Unleashed - getting the most out of your time here on Earth, and finding ways to break through our limitations, self-imposed or otherwise. Two couples from Europe will embark on similar but contrasting journeys in 2023 that will push them (and their gear!) to the very limits. Something they share in common is that portions of their adventures will be powered by their TRAK 2.0 kayaks, though how they’re reaching their various put-ins are very, very different!

Peter Schoedl & Nathalie Marik - Sea2Summit.Life

It can be hard to walk away from a good thing, but that is exactly the path that Peter and Nathalie have chosen. They've sold their successful sports medicine practice in their native Austria to be able to embark on an "indefinite departure" starting in April of 2023.

They've already completed 66 different expeditions together around the globe,  using their TRAKs for over 10 years to visit places like the Lofoten Islands, Raja Ampat, and Baja  to name a few! They'll be calling their new custom overlander "Dirty Harry" home for the foreseeable future as they endeavor to stay on the road for as far, and for as long, as they can.

Sometimes you have to be brave, jump in with both feet, and see where the road takes you!

Brian Wright & Liz Drotos - Bike+Boat

Brian and Liz were standing on the shore of Lake Sevan when they realized they needed seaworthy boats that could go with them to the more remote corners of the world. Now, years later, they're hanging up their careers as educators and mentors at the United World College in the Netherlands, and diving full-on into a new life as human-powered adventurers.

A lot of paddlers have scratched their heads over the years over the conundrum of getting the most capable portable kayak to work independently with a cycling solution - Brian and Liz have found the ultimate solution to that long pondered question: introducing "Bike+Boat"!

Their Bike Friday PakIt bicycles can fit into the back compartment of the TRAK 2.0, and with their trailers strapped to the back deck of their kayaks, Brian and Liz are fully unleashed and moving under the power of their own steam.

They begin their full time adventuring as Bike + Boaters in summer 2023, with their first sights set on either the Dalmatian or Ionian islands of Southeast Europe.
