Announcement: TRAK Moves to Vancouver Island!

TRAK HQ has moved to WATER

( and we want YOU to join us! )

TRAK Kayaks is absolutely STOKED to announce the relocation of our global headquarters from Airdrie, AB to Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, BC - the Harbour Hub city of Canada's West Coast!

The beginnings of TRAK formed where an ocean of grassland met the foothills of the stunning Canadian Rocky Mountains, and we are glad and grateful for the role that Alberta has played in our development as a business. We called Alberta home for 15 years, and we can't count the times we've put the TRAK on a plane out of YYC Int'l and flown to the water - this most recent journey west was done on a one-way ticket!

New Digs, Same FOCUS. Welcome to our new global headquarters!

Nanaimo was the perfect choice for the new TRAK HQ. It's accessibility from the mainland, proximity to world class paddling spots, and rich heritage of Indigenous seafaring culture made this a no brainer for us. This move, both as an organization and for us as a collective of individuals, is a lifetime event. We're already building the foundation and laying the roots for the next 15, 20, even 30 years. There is so much for us to share that we want you to join us!

The new TRAK HQ Campus is more than our daily workspace - it will function  now as a launchpad for paddling experiences all over Vancouver Island. Whether you're arriving on the Island to join our flagship Pacific Rim Camp, or you're stopping by on your way to your own paddling adventures, we have an open-door policy for all paddlers. Join us in Nanaimo before joining a skills camp, to test the TRAK 2.0, or to just drop by for a coffee!

This major transition for TRAK is lockstep with our current production run of creating over 800 kayaks in 2021. Our focus is unwaveringly on closing the gap on the time it takes to deliver a kayak to you - we don't need to get into what struggles 2020 brought to the table, but we do need to point out that we are in production. Our factory staff are busy with over 2.5 kilometers of our special hull material, impeccably creating each TRAK hull to be ready for paddlers worldwide.

Our global team of Pilot Ambassadors are also gearing up for a busy year of sea trials and test paddles - have you ever seen our TRAK 2.0 in the wild?

We invite you to visit our new headquarters in Nanaimo, BC and test the TRAK 2.0 kayakSimply fill out this short sign up form and we'll be in direct contact with you right away.

Wow – congrats! That is certainly an awesome location for you! I will need to swing by to visit when I am out to see my sister Jeanne (now living in the Cowichan Valley) in early April!
