Deh Cho Solo

Deh Cho means ‘Big River’ in the language of the local Dene people, and Frank Wolf's month-long meander down the longest river in Canada will be a meditation on the wilderness, history and culture of our country. We're asked all the time why the TRAK is the Ultimate Folding Kayak. Here's one more example of incredible people on amazing journeys with them.

"I'm looking at doing a month-log solo journey this July/August down the 1650 km length of the Mackenzie River, the longest river in Canada. The remote, point to point, fly-in fly-out route is the perfect mission for a TRAK 2.0 kayak" ~ Frank Wolf

Here is this summer's mission paddling north into the land of the midnight sun:

Frank's signature "daily haiku" is a simple and entertaining way to follow his progress, as he makes his way through Inuvik as the river flows into the Beaufort Sea.

Update July 17th: "So far, so good - trip is clipping along nicely - the TRAK is running sweet!"

We'll have a full trip debrief soon - stay tuned and follow his journey!
