The new TRAK “Solstice King” Greenland Paddle is a 3-piece, all carbon performance paddle that fits inside of the TRAK 2.0 rolling travel bag.
Lightweight, durable, and highly portable, this qajaq paddle will follow you anywhere in the world and still lead the pod when you get there.
Featuring a uniquely stiff 'hex lock' system, the Solstice King breaks down into 37"/ 94cm segments for compact storage, road trips, and air travel, but still feels as solid as a single piece blade when assembled.
Our blade design is inspired by the midnight sun and polar night, natural phenomena that reach their zenith during the summer and winter solstice. Greenland is the birthplace of the sea kayak, and is where the effects of each solstice are most powerful on Earth.
This paddle comes in an assembled length of 220cm and weighs only 650g (or 23 oz).
*This Paddle includes regular length loom and storm paddle attachment. In storm paddle mode, the blade is 74 inches / 187 cm long.
The 220cm length is ideal for almost all paddlers, especially paired with the beam width and paddling characteristics of the TRAK kayak (22.5" / 57 cm)
