- TRAK Product Mastery
- Various aspects of Seamanship. i.e. weather, navigation, tides, and chart reading etc.

What we're going to do:

Set off with your boat and expedition gear from Anacortes to Friday Harbor via Washington State ferry and then weave your way back over the remaining paddling days. The ferry ride allows you to soak in breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and rugged coastline that we'll be exploring up close and personal in the days ahead.

Once you arrive in Friday Harbor, your kayak adventure truly begins. We will hitch a ride to San Juan County Park to start our paddling journey. From there, paddling back toward Anacortes, you will navigate through a labyrinth of islands, each offering its own unique landscapes and ecosystems. Multiple route options and calmer summer weather water make this expedition suitable for advanced beginner/intermediate paddlers. More advanced paddlers will find suitable challenges in the big tidal exchanges that happen in the tight island channels.

Both on and off the water, you will have the opportunity to explore secluded beaches, hidden coves, and spot the diverse flora and fauna that call these islands home.

Throughout the journey, Body Boat Blade’s experienced guides will provide skills coaching and opportunities to develop your personal skills. They will offer insights into the area’s natural history and cultural significance, enhancing your appreciation of this remarkable region. This expedition promises not only an exploration of stunning waterways but also an opportunity to create lasting memories amidst the breathtaking beauty of the San Juan Islands.
