Tour reviews

"My first foray into these waters was during the inaugural Bay of Fundy Sea Kayak Symposium where I spent three days working on fundamental skills, leadership, and paddling in current. The islands provide scaled learning environments from placid sheltered waters to more exposed tidal flows around the outer islands and the playful Hell’s Gate. I cannot think of a better place to develop skills as a paddler, or just enjoy the sheep, eagles, and osprey."

Kirk Dauphinee

"There is a group of more than 20 islands, known as The Tuskets, the Mi'kmaq word for the "Great Forked Tidal River". The actual river continues into the sea where the flow is augmented by the tidal cycle. There are 8000 acres of salt marshes alone. The tidal flood carries you north wise towards Cape Forchu and the Bay of Fundy, and the ebb takes you deep into the North Atlantic. The picture is of a demanding environment, an ideal place to run sea kayak leadership sessions, an excellent spot to exercise navigation, and an overall bucket list location for any competent Paddler."
