Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams has been paddling for years. He started as a whitewater enthusiast and more recently has discovered sea kayaking in the Pacific Northwest. Matthew started paddling his TRAK in the fall of 2014 as part of an assignment for Outdoor Project. Matthew paddled 25 adventures (mostly solo) in the Seattle region – the highlight having been the San Juan Islands – and created some beautiful stories and logs that are now featured on the Outdoor Project website. When Matthew is not paddling his TRAK he is paddling his beautiful hand-crafted cedar strip which he built himself. Matthew feels lucky that his work and play intersect quite frequently, life unleashed for him is keeping the balance and passion for his photography as well as exploring the natural world.
