Chris Young

Chris Young

Chris Young hails from Seattle, WA, in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Thriving on his work with new paddlers, and the inner peace he finds while connecting with water, Chris is passionate about sharing amazing outdoor experiences with others.

A devoted community organizer, Chris is particularly focused on empowering people from marginalized groups to participate in outdoor recreation. With a deep respect for his local Coast Salish and Duwamish First Nations, Chris is a fresh water seeker.

Intrigued by folding and skin on frame boats of all designs, Chris was attracted to the TRAK for its performance on the water, ingenuity of design and materials, and that, as a West Greenland-style hull, it honors the Inuit origins of kayaking.

If you're looking for your first TRAK experience in the US-PNW, then we encourage you to reach out to TRAK about connecting with Chris. With his thoughtful approach, and a focus on newer paddlers, we can promise that you'll be in good hands and in a positive learning environment.
